The Unsettling ( So Many why’s and what’s)

Before I wrote my first book (TWISTS & TURNS), I assumed that being an author was all that there was to life; as though after achieving that particular feat, I would feel a sense of complete fulfillment, but alas, I was wrongYes, becoming a first-time author came with so much inner joy, a great degree of peace, and a feeling of fulfillment but little did I know that at the summit of every mountain lie other mountains waiting to be explored.

Can you achieve it all?

There is no settling in or with God; there is so much rest in God but not settling. God wants us to move from one level of glory to another, one level of peace to the next, from conquest to conquest, from one achievement to the second, albeit with Him at the center; outside this, nothing would make sense.

The world is filled with a host of outstanding “achievers” from various walks of life; we read of their fame in Forbes and watch them on CNN; we think of them with profound admiration, yet many of them report feelings of emptiness and despair, eventually resorting to substance abuse or other such vices that destroy their lives. It’s a different situation for the child of God.

Jesus fills all our empty spaces yet creates a vacuum in us so we can run to him for more, He intentionally unsettles us so we can do more and be more for HimI strongly believe that there are millions of people in the world who are faced with this dilemma; perhaps you, dear reader, strongly feel that there is more to you; you sense a call to a higher life, to something greater and more relevant but you don’t have a clue about what to do.

To learn more about this, you can get my book “Redefined“. Learn to manage and take charge of what lies ahead of your path.
