NO BLOOD, NO GLORY

This was a tagline in one of Mt. Zion’s recent movie Abbatoir. I sat with ALL the seasons of the movie because there was a spiritual intelligence I wanted to unravel and then the movie sure answered most of my questions. The principles of BLOOD and GLORY have been timeless. Blood is a very potent weapon, in fact, a missile, in the realm of the spirit. Everyone you see doing glorious things has given up something. The something is what only they can say. Some have become dead to the opinion of others. Dead to self, dead to the desires of this world.

There are different angles to a scripture depending on the emphasis of God for the season. One scripture can mean many things. I know I had shared Jacob and Esau’s story from the angle of conflict management.

Let’s look at it again from the angle of BLOOD and GLORY.

The one way Jacob could cart the blessings (albeit, mischievously) was because he SPILLED blood. The spirit of Isaac couldn’t resist the smell of the blood even though the voice sounded like that of Joseph. To get that blessing, Jacob was faster in spilling the BLOOD than Esau who was told to find venison in order to collect THE BLESSING.

Everyone talks of the wisdom of Solomon but no one looked at it from the angle of blood spilling. He offered a thousand burnt offerings, that’s right but he also SPILLED A THOUSAND BLOOD. That’s a massive sacrifice from one person. See how much blood ascended in sacrifice on behalf of one person. Just tell me. Which spirit won’t appear?

Well, we both know the answer. God appeared to him and gave him a blank cheque to write anything. He asked for WISDOM but God gave him much more- wealth, peace, and everything inclusive. His glory was known throughout the land. Did the glory land on his lap? No, sir, his sacrifices ascended.

What about Cornelius? His givings and sacrifices ascended.

What about Abraham? He laid down Isaac.

Do you still doubt that glory is associated with blood?

Look through your bible, everywhere blood is SPILLED, it evokes spiritual activities FOR or AGAINST. Blood moves spiritual beings to operate. When Jesus SPILLED his own blood he moved God to operate on behalf of humanity.

Question: I am a New Testament Christian, we CAN NOT spill blood.(Yes, physically)but what equates to blood for me? (spiritually)

Answer: What did Jesus spill? What did he give up? Romans 12: 1-2

Question: What else can be spilled?

Answer: What else did the early apostles and believers spill?
They GAVE themselves. Sold themselves over to God. Their souls were sold out to God, the master. They were dead to the world.

The woman with the Alabaster box? She broke it. Some gave up businesses, and some monies and others sold their properties to lay it at the feet of the disciples. One thing is common- they laid their ISAACS at the altar.

Look around again and check those wielding influences- some have died to self, some have given up ambitions, careers, legit desires, wills to Japa aspirations all for the CROSS. They have laid their Isaacs. They have laid something on the altar. Their personal WILLS are dead as they have traded them for the agenda of heaven. What is that one thing God is asking you to give up for Him? That is your Isaac. Lay it down. Once again, I tell you…

NO BLOOD
NO GLORY.
